....ye were SEALED with the HOLY SPIRIT of Promise, which is the EARNEST of our inheritance UNTIL the redemption of the purchased possession... (Ephesians 1:13-14)
Sealed means 'to stamp with a signet or private mark'
When a person receives the Holy Ghost, that is the private mark that God has placed on those who received His Spirit showing that person belongs to Him. (2 Timothy 2:19)
For us, it is the EARNEST (the down payment) of our inheritance....that we are heirs in line to receive the promise of eternal life.
UNTIL THE REDEMPTION...until that ransom is paid in full when Jesus comes back for His Church.
Have you received the seal of the Holy Ghost? Without it, you're not part of God's family yet nor an heir to receive the Promised Inheritance of eternal life. (Roman's 8:9)
This promise is available for you! (Acts 2:38-39) You'll know you have received the Holy Ghost and God has set His seal on you when you speak with other tongues, the evidence of receiving His precious Gift. (Everywhere recorded in Acts at the birth of the Church when a person received the Holy Ghost the Apostles knew for they heard the speak with new tongues.)
Don't let the devil rob and deceive you out of receiving all that God has for you.
Do you have God's seal? Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed evidenced by speaking in other tongues? (Acts 19)
